Runway 3.0’s Technology: Progression/Obsession presented by Buffalo State College Fashion Technology Program pulled in a packed house to the Pierce Arrow Bldg. on Saturday, May 1st. The event featured fashions by alumni designers Carol Ann Rice Rafferty, David Brinson Shantell Reid; WEARABLE ART fashion by Stephanie Abelson, Basia Poletowski, Diane Meyer, Jackie Hopper; STUDENT DESIGNS by Annisha Smith, Tony Bruce, Melissa Stoll, Brenda Hamilton, Jaida Van Putten, Dridget Demeis & Katie Gariepy, Brittany Learn, Emily Tolnay-colection, Tinh V. Nguyen-collection, Melissa Marchand, Basia Poletowski-collection; SENIOR COLLECTIONS by Diane Meyer, Tess Hinterbichler, Anthony Scaparo, Lyudmila Kennedy, Brittany Chonka; LOCAL DESIGNERS Holly Jue, Aella, Morgen and ADAM LIPPES.
There were so many models on the runway that one wondered where all of them appeared from. Who knew Buffalo had hundreds of aspiring runway models? Music for the show was provided by Shock and Awe.
